81qd is a Healthcare Analytics company which specializes in technologies which extract and refine data. We provide the basis for objective analyses in support of our clients, changing the way decisions are made.
This high visibility role will focus on assisting teams with the sourcing and analysis of facts to help solve specific life cycle strategy and business problems. To that end, the individual is responsible for collecting, summarizing, analyzing and synthesizing facts that serve as critical inputs to projects. Associate Research Analysts must have a methodological and detail-oriented approach to collecting and managing data points. You must demonstrate comfort in preparing formatted end products in the form of access databases, PowerPoint presentations, written summaries, fact sheets and spreadsheets. In addition, the Associate Research Analyst will efficiently gather the necessary raw information, partnering with Biomedical Linguistic Specialists to leverage the full range of relevant sources; will manage and maintain any specialized databases, systems or collections for the team and help to develop new knowledge assets. The Associate Research Analyst is expected to contribute original ideas to Monthly Innovation Meetings and will participate in all business activities as required.
To be considered for the role of Associate Research Analyst at 81qd, one must hold a 4-year Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Library Science or other related field. Candidates must have an interest in learning bioinformatics skills and be able to demonstrate an understanding of 81qd projects from conception through implementation. Successful candidates for the role of Associate Research Analyst will have an interest in learning the product line (opinion leadership and opinion leadership services and syndicated research), show initiative and be able to work independently. In addition, must have a solid analytical background and comfort with using data and information to create specific analyses; demonstrated research in an academic or business setting is preferred. Excellent organizational skills, strong attention to detail, good communication skills, and ability to handle stress and work as part of a team are essential. A good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite is needed.
